Pregnancy, Just Make It Special for You and Your Baby.
Sunday, November 23rd, 2008So you just found out you're going to have a baby. What do I do? What do I eat? Is it ok to do this or is it ok to do that? There are so many myths and ideas about what you can and cannot do when you're going to have a baby. Everyone in your life is going to be ready with some advice and some horror story about their pregnancy and delivery. It is a beautiful time when a woman is with child. In the first couple of months maybe not as you are barfing every five minutes… just kidding, although the term morning sickness is misleading. It's really just sickness and it can come on you any time of the night or day. I remember a friend that the only thing she could eat was a hard shelled meat taco from a local fast food restaurant. Rice, salad, and even the blandest of foods made her gag. And even the thought of a chicken soft taco, or the mere suggestion was enough to make her feel violently ill. But every woman's pregnancy is different. What you can expect when you are pregnant may be nothing like the next person's experience. The important thing is you just have to make it special for you, your baby, your partner and your family.
